Woman Known as ‘Delilah’ Surrenders to Police Amid Fraud and Extortion Investigation in Trinidad
A Point Fortin woman known on social media as “Delilah” and “Mother Divine” has reportedly surrendered to police amid an investigation into allegations of fraud and extortion.
Information received indicates that the woman surrendered at a police station at approximately 9:25 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, following reports made by alleged victims in the Port of Spain policing division.
After being detained, she reportedly complained of feeling unwell. Medical personnel were subsequently called to the police station to assess her condition.
She reportedly declined to be transported for further medical attention and signed documentation indicating that she was refusing the medical assistance offered.
The woman had recently attracted attention on social media following disputes surrounding spiritual services she allegedly provided to clients.
She also attracted attention in Grenada after publicly discussing a disagreement involving payment for spiritual services allegedly performed for two individuals, one reportedly from Grenada and another from the United States.
Videos circulated on social media in which she reportedly discussed the outstanding payments and displayed aspects of the spiritual work she claimed to have performed while seeking payment.
The circumstances surrounding those online disputes and the complaints currently being investigated by police have not been independently established as being part of the same matter.
