Kush has rejected the idea that corruption or deliberate attempts to block artists are always responsible when music careers fail to progress.
Asked whether he considered the music industry corrupt, Kush said problems and attempts to undermine people exist in many industries and are not unique to entertainment.
He argued that some artists are too quick to blame outside forces when their careers do not develop the way they expected.
According to Kush, artists also have to examine their own work, business decisions, consistency, marketing and overall approach before concluding that someone else prevented them from becoming successful.
He said he remains willing to work with different people and does not approach the industry believing that everyone is trying to stop someone else.
Kush acknowledged that personal conflicts and competitive behaviour exist, but said artists should avoid using those realities as a universal explanation for poor results.
