Venezuelan Woman, 205th Murder Victim in Trinidad and Tobago, Fatally Stabbed in Domestic Dispute

In a distressing turn of events, a Venezuelan woman has become the 205th murder victim in Trinidad and Tobago this year. Kelimar Del Jesus Duran Morillo was fatally stabbed during an alleged domestic dispute at her residence in Enterprise, Chaguanas. The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday, July 11th, 2026.

According to initial reports, an argument broke out between Morillo and her Venezuelan boyfriend around 3:00 a.m. The confrontation escalated rapidly, resulting in Morillo being stabbed three times.

Immediately following the incident, Morillo was rushed to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC), Mt. Hope. Despite the best efforts of the medical personnel, she succumbed to her injuries.

The local police have since launched a homicide investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the tragic event. The focus of the investigation is to confirm the details of the incident and bring about justice for Morillo.
