Airport Parking Fees Jump To $15 Hourly, $95 Daily And $1,125 Monthly From November 1

Motorists using Trinidad and Tobago’s international airports will face significantly higher parking charges from November 1, 2026, following an announcement by the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (AATT).

The revised rates will apply at both Piarco International Airport in Trinidad and A.N.R. Robinson International Airport in Tobago, affecting motorists who use the facilities for short visits, daily parking and extended stays.

Under the new structure, hourly parking will cost $15, up from $10 at Piarco, representing a 50 per cent increase.

The daily parking rate will climb from $63 to $95, an increase of $32 or approximately 50.8 per cent.

Motorists leaving their vehicles for extended periods will face an even larger increase in dollar terms, with monthly parking rising from $750 to $1,125, an additional $375.

According to the Authority’s public notice, the hourly rate applies to vehicles parked for less than six hours, while the daily rate covers stays of six hours or more, up to 24 hours.

The monthly rate applies to vehicles parked for 12 or more consecutive days, allowing motorists to pay a fixed charge rather than continuing to accumulate daily fees.

However, a review of the Airports Authority’s published parking information reveals an important distinction between the two airports.

While Piarco’s listed rates match the previous charges outlined in news reports, the Authority’s website separately lists lower parking rates for A.N.R. Robinson International Airport: $7 hourly, $45 daily and $540 monthly.

If those remain Tobago’s existing rates until November 1, the newly announced charges would represent increases of more than 100 per cent for motorists using that airport, rather than the approximately 50 per cent reported for Piarco.

The public notice does not explain the difference between the previously published Tobago rates and the new national pricing structure.

The increase is likely to be particularly noticeable for travellers who prefer leaving their vehicles at the airport instead of arranging transportation to and from the terminals.

For example, a five-day parking stay at Piarco would rise from $315 to $475 under the revised daily rate, an additional $160.

The adjustment comes as Tobago begins operations at its new international airport terminal, which officially commenced flights on October 14, 2026.

The Airports Authority’s latest notice confirms that the revised charges take effect on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at both international airports.
