Kush says different songs have transformed his career at different stages, taking him from initial recognition to live performances and eventually teaching him about the business of music.
He identified an early single called “Ease Off” as the first song that significantly changed his career around 2014.
According to Kush, the record introduced him to a wider audience and helped people begin recognising him as an artist.
He later identified “No Egg Ball” as another major turning point. Kush said that period moved him beyond simply being known and placed him on stages performing before larger audiences.
However, he described “Welcome to Moco” as the record that taught him about the financial and business side of music.
Kush summarised the stages as fame, excitement and eventually understanding money.
He said the lessons from those records changed the way he now approaches releasing music, promotion and his responsibilities as an artist.
