The Barbados Police Service has identified 28-year-old Tremaine Alexander Beckles as the man killed in an early-morning shooting at Six Roads Development, St Philip.
Police said the incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Initial investigations indicate that Beckles was sitting in the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle when a number of gunshots were discharged, striking him.
Beckles succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A medical doctor subsequently examined his body and pronounced him dead.
Police said Beckles, who lived at Six Roads Development, was formally identified by a relative. Investigators from District ‘C’ Police Station are continuing inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
No information about a possible motive, suspects or arrests was included in the police information available at the time of reporting.
The Barbados Police Service has appealed to anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information that could assist investigators to come forward.
