Hundreds of steelpan players turned out at Skinner Park as Pan Trinbago began distributing Panorama 2026 players’ remittance cheques, marking another important milestone for the country’s steelband movement.
The distribution follows the receipt of more than $4.7 million in remittance funding for eligible Panorama 2026 performers. Pan Trinbago previously announced that players who participated in the preliminary round of the National Panorama competition would receive their remittances through an organised cheque distribution process.
Photos from Skinner Park showed a steady stream of musicians collecting their cheques, with players from various steel orchestras gathering throughout the day. The event highlighted the continued commitment to recognising the dedication and talent of those who help preserve and promote Trinidad and Tobago’s national instrument.
