In a heartfelt ceremony on Thursday, July 30, twelve inmates from the Carrera Convict Prison embraced a new chapter in their lives by participating in a baptismal service in the Gulf of Paria. This event is part of the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service’s faith-based rehabilitation program, which focuses on promoting personal growth and spiritual renewal among inmates.
The baptism was conducted by Pastor Wilma Kelly and members of the Way of Holiness Ministries. The group traveled to the island prison to lead the service, which involved immersing the inmates in the waters of the Gulf.
