During the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation’s (TUCO) elections held this past Sunday, Ainsley King secured another term as President. King’s re-election reflects the continued support he received from TUCO’s membership, thereby earning him another mandate to lead the body representing calypsonians across Trinidad and Tobago.
In a statement following his victory, King expressed his gratitude towards TUCO members and the broader calypso fraternity for their trust, confidence, and continued support. He described the election result as a victory not just for himself, but for everyone committed to the cause of strengthening TUCO.
King called for unity among TUCO members as the organisation embarks on its next chapter. He urged members to remain committed and focused on advancing the organisation’s interests. Echoing his commitment to the role, King emphatically stated, ‘The work continues.’
