Trinidad Killa says he is “hurt” and “totally disrespected” following the shooting at his Smokehouse restaurant, describing the incident as something he cannot take lightly.
He said he came to America to work hard and provide for himself, not to become involved in violence or intimidation.

The entertainer confirmed that police are investigating the incident and said he is cooperating fully.
While thanking supporters for their concern, Trinidad Killa revealed that Smokehouse may never reopen at its current location, saying the risk to customers and staff is too great.

He explained that many people warned him not to open the business in that area because it was considered dangerous, but he chose to invest there anyway.
According to Trinidad Killa, he believes he has faced a “silent fight” since opening the restaurant. He claimed there have been repeated complaints and attempts to shut the business down through inspections and reports.
He said health inspectors and other agencies visited the restaurant numerous times, resulting in what he estimated to be around $20,000 in violations, even though he insists his establishment is properly licensed and maintained.

He also challenged the health grading his business received, maintaining that cleanliness has always been one of his highest priorities.

Trinidad Killa further alleged that businesses owned by Black entrepreneurs are treated differently from some others during inspections. These are his personal claims, and no evidence was presented during the livestream to support them.
Despite everything that has happened, he said he has no intention of paying any criminal “tax” or extortion fee.

Ending his message, Trinidad Killa thanked his supporters and said bigger plans are already in the pipeline, promising that Smokehouse will return in another form, even if it is at a different location.
