Jamaican dancehall superstar Popcaan has reportedly secured his United States visa and travelled to Florida, marking a significant breakthrough after years of difficulties entering the American market.<\/p>\n
The development was reported on Sunday, 11 October 2026, by music publications World Music Views and DancehallMag, with the entertainer’s sister, Annalecia \u201cUnruly Squid\u201d Sutherland, also celebrating the milestone.<\/p>\n
Popcaan, whose real name is Andrae Sutherland, has established himself as one of Jamaica’s most internationally recognised dancehall artistes, building a global following through hit songs and collaborations with major international performers, including Canadian rapper Drake.<\/p>\n
Despite his international success, difficulties obtaining the necessary US travel documents had remained a longstanding obstacle to expanding his presence in the American entertainment market.<\/p>\n
