He said negative incidents connected to Trinibad were frequently highlighted in media coverage, while positive developments struggled to receive similar exposure.<\/p>\n
According to Punz, some journalists have sought payments of US$2,000, US$3,000 or US$4,000 for articles, a claim he used to illustrate what he described as an uphill battle to communicate positive work being done within the movement.<\/p>\n
He contrasted that alleged experience with the ease at which negative stories about individuals connected to the scene can appear across multiple platforms.<\/p>\n
Punz did not identify the journalists or publications he was referring to, and the allegation was not independently substantiated within the interview.<\/p>\n
He said the difficulty of getting positive messages heard has been part of a longer journey for those attempting to improve the image of Trinibad.<\/p>\n
