{"id":5018,"date":"2026-09-30T22:36:43","date_gmt":"2026-10-01T02:36:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tringlobe.news\/?p=5018"},"modified":"2026-09-30T22:36:43","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T02:36:43","slug":"condolence-books-open-nationwide-for-public-to-honour-mighty-sparrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tringlobe.news\/?p=5018","title":{"rendered":"Condolence Books Open Nationwide For Public To Honour Mighty Sparrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the public will have an opportunity to pay tribute to calypso icon The Mighty Sparrow through condolence books being made available across Trinidad and Tobago from October 1 to 14, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Culture and Community Development announced the initiative under the theme, \u201cOne Last Note&#8230; For the King of Calypso,\u201d inviting citizens to record messages and reflections honouring one of the country\u2019s most celebrated cultural figures.<\/p>\n<p>Condolence books will be available at the NAPA Hotel in Port of Spain, in the lobby area; the Southern Academy for the Performing Arts, SAPA; the International Waterfront Complex in Port of Spain, Level 8, Tower C; and the Shaw Park Complex in Tobago.<\/p>\n<p>The public will be able to sign the books between 10 am and 4 pm from October 1 to 14.
