The Barbados Police Service has identified 28-year-old Tremaine Alexander Beckles as the man killed in an early-morning shooting at Six Roads Development, St Philip.<\/p>\n
Police said the incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Initial investigations indicate that Beckles was sitting in the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle when a number of gunshots were discharged, striking him.<\/p>\n
Beckles succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A medical doctor subsequently examined his body and pronounced him dead.<\/p>\n
Police said Beckles, who lived at Six Roads Development, was formally identified by a relative. Investigators from District ‘C’ Police Station are continuing inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.<\/p>\n
No information about a possible motive, suspects or arrests was included in the police information available at the time of reporting.<\/p>\n
The Barbados Police Service has appealed to anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information that could assist investigators to come forward.<\/p>\n
