{"id":4928,"date":"2026-09-29T10:14:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-29T14:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tringlobe.news\/?p=4928"},"modified":"2026-09-29T10:14:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T14:14:09","slug":"cigarettes-and-lighters-intercepted-outside-port-of-spain-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tringlobe.news\/?p=4928","title":{"rendered":"Cigarettes And Lighters Intercepted Outside Port Of Spain Prison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prison officers intercepted a package containing cigarettes and dozens of lighters after it was allegedly thrown over the perimeter wall of the Port of Spain Prison on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service, the package was discovered at approximately 6:45 a.m. on September 29, 2026, by officers attached to the facility.<\/p>\n<p>The package contained 13 packs of L&#038;M cigarettes, 10 packs of Du Maurier cigarettes, 20 loose L&#038;M cigarettes and 32 cigarette lighters.
