In the brief video shared on social media, Persad-Bissessar was seated alongside members of Trinidad and Tobago\u2019s delegation in a holding room at the United Nations.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister told viewers that she expected to take the podium within approximately 45 minutes.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are in a holding room and within about 45 minutes, I believe, I shall be addressing the Assembly,\u201d Persad-Bissessar said.<\/p>\n
She also greeted viewers and indicated that she was looking forward to seeing their comments.<\/p>\n
The video provided a glimpse of the Trinidad and Tobago delegation in the final moments before the country\u2019s presentation at the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.<\/p>\n
