More than 200 residents of Enterprise, Chaguanas and surrounding communities are expected to benefit from free health, social and family support services through the sixth annual Churches in Action Health Fiesta. The Ministry of the People, Social Development and Family Services announced on Friday that it provided a one-off grant of $9,600 to support the community initiative. The grant was presented by Minister Vandana Mohit to Yunus Kerr, Director on the Board of the Churches in Action Foundation, during a presentation at the Ministry\u2019s head office in Port of Spain on Friday, September 18. According to the Ministry\u2019s media release, the Health Fiesta will take place on Saturday, September 19, at the African Grounds in Enterprise. Residents will have access to health screenings, counselling, social services, educational information and family-oriented activities at no cost. The Ministry said Mohit commended Churches in Action for its continued work within the community and reaffirmed the Government\u2019s commitment to supporting its efforts. Churches in Action Foundation is described as a community-based, faith-oriented organisation serving Enterprise and surrounding communities in the Longdenville and Chaguanas area.
