Police units across intelligence, investigative, and operational divisions remain coordinated, with a policing posture guided by evidence and the law. Officers will maintain visibility and conduct targeted operations in areas where assessments indicate a need, while continuing efforts to disrupt illegal firearms, gang activity and other serious criminal threats.<\/p>\n
The statement clarified that revoking a PDO or releasing an individual does not itself provide a basis for police action against that person. If the individual remains the subject of an active investigation, the police will continue to gather evidence and pursue the case to its proper conclusion, whether during the state of emergency or after it is lifted. All further actions will be evidence\u2011based and strictly lawful.<\/p>\n
