Two Armed Men Tie Up Workers, Rob 24-Hour Pharmacy in Charlieville<\/p>\n
Two armed men robbed a 24-hour pharmacy in Charlieville, Chaguanas, early Wednesday morning after tying up two employees and escaping with cash and the business’s surveillance recorder.<\/p>\n
Police said the robbery occurred at The Pharmacy Hub, located at the eastern end of Pierre Road, at approximately 6:05 a.m.<\/p>\n
According to reports, the two men entered the pharmacy armed and tied up the two employees who were inside at the time.<\/p>\n
The suspects then reportedly searched the business and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.<\/p>\n
Before leaving, the men also took the pharmacy’s digital video recorder, or DVR, which is used to store footage captured by the business’s surveillance system.<\/p>\n
The suspects then escaped from the area on foot.<\/p>\n
After the men left, the two employees managed to free themselves and made their way to a nearby gas station along Pierre Road.<\/p>\n
They alerted security personnel at the gas station, and police were subsequently contacted.<\/p>\n
Officers from the Chaguanas Police Station responded shortly afterwards and began investir into the incident.<\/p>\n
