Diego Martin North\/East MP Colm Imbert has criticised the Government over what he described as neglect of basic maintenance in his constituency and across Trinidad and Tobago.
\nSpeaking during a press conference, Imbert pointed to overgrown vegetation along roadsides, claiming grass in some areas had reached approximately six feet in height.
\n\u201cSix feet tall, six feet tall at the side of the road,\u201d Imbert said. \u201cAnd that is not confined to Diego Martin North\/East. That\u2019s the whole country.\u201d
\nImbert used the condition of the roadsides to support his wider criticism of the Government’s management of public spaces and infrastructure.
