S.S. Sustainable Systems, in collaboration with the Couva Point Lisas Chamber of Commerce, is set to host an insightful workshop titled ‘Sustainability Through Procurement’ on 21 August 2026. This event, located at the Chamber’s premises on Camden Road, Couva, aims to gather a diverse group of individuals ranging from students to industry leaders, all focused on the future of sustainable procurement in Trinidad and Tobago.<\/p>\n
Themed ‘Youth Transforming Caribbean Procurement: Building Environmentally Sustainable Supply Chains for Resilience, Prosperity, and Global Impact by 2026,’ the event will feature presentations from notable figures, including Comptroller of the Customs and Excise Division, Mr. Riad Juman. Representatives from organizations such as NEDCO, PLIPDECO, and the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago will also share their expertise.<\/p>\n
A key goal of the workshop is to inspire the next generation of procurement professionals by promoting environmentally responsible purchasing practices.
