A late-night drive for a loaf of bread ended in tragedy for a Marabella family when 42-year-old Troy Sonilal lost control of his car and died in a crash along the Southern Main Road.<\/p>\n
According to police reports, Sonilal was attempting to overtake traffic when his vehicle veered off the roadway and slammed into a metal gate and pipelines owned by Paria Trading Company Ltd. He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
A 30-year-old nurse from Rio Claro, who was a passenger in the car, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital. Hospital officials confirmed she was in stable condition.<\/p>\n
Sonilal\u2019s mother said her son had left home to buy a loaf of bread and never returned. She described him as her only child, a kind and trouble-free man who was well-liked in the community.<\/p>\n
