The body of missing Ministry of Works and Infrastructure employee Mayfan Claircin has been found in the Heights of Guanapo, according to the Hunters Search and Rescue Team (HSRT).<\/p>\n
Claircin, 25, of Port of Spain, was last seen on Friday, 17th July 2026, driving a red Mazda 323 bearing registration number PCC 9986. He was employed with the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure in Arima and was scheduled to report for road patching duties that Friday but never arrived at work.<\/p>\n
Following his disappearance, relatives were unable to contact him and grew increasingly worried about his safety and well-being. A search was launched, which ended with the grim discovery of his body.<\/p>\n
HSRT, under Commander Shamsudeen Ayube, conducted search operations in the Heights of Guanapo. The deceased was identified by his brother. The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) was immediately notified and remains on the scene.<\/p>\n
