A series of four back-to-back home invasions has left an expatriate community in Grand Lagoon, Mayaro, in shock and fear. The violent incidents occurred in the early hours of Thursday, July 2, 2026, on Frontin Road, a quiet residential area now marred by violence and fear.<\/p>\n
Residents report a group of armed bandits moving from house to house in what has been described as a coordinated and violent robbery spree. Many of the victims were bound and severely beaten as the criminals searched for valuables. Among them, a resident who was allegedly struck multiple times with a fire extinguisher, suffering serious injuries.<\/p>\n
The gang managed to evade police, fleeing the scene before their arrival. Investigators are now piecing together the events of the night, working to determine whether the attacks were executed by the same group.<\/p>\n
