TK Smokehouse Announces Split From Platinum Cuisine in Long Island
TK Smokehouse has officially announced that it is no longer doing business at Platinum Cuisine in Long Island, New York, effective August 14, 2026.
The announcement was made through an official statement published by TK Smokehouse on Friday. Customers and supporters were specifically advised not to visit the Long Island location expecting TK Smokehouse food or services.
TK Smokehouse had previously operated alongside Platinum Cuisine, promoting Caribbean dishes and the partnership through social media. Earlier promotional material advertised the Long Island operation as “TK Smokehouse alongside Platinum Cuisine Restaurant and Lounge.”
However, the latest statement indicates that the business relationship has ended.
According to TK Smokehouse, there were unspecified business matters behind the scenes which made it necessary for the brand to separate itself from the operation.
The statement further declared that the owner would not allow anyone to use the TK Smokehouse name, customers, hard work or brand to address their own financial problems.
